How invisible and Invisalign braces work
The invisible brace system is a series of clear plastic aligners that gradually achieve the same result of metal braces. The plastic is nearly invisible and can be removed when you wish to eat or chew gum. Cleaning your teeth is also easier with invisible braces because you can still brush and floss without having to remove your braces.

The process of fitting your invisible braces begins with a careful examination of your teeth. Using the latest advances in 3-D computer technology, Invisalign creates a model of your teeth with a computer. The system then generates a series of precisely customized aligners for your teeth.
You then wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, moving your teeth gradually - week by week - millimeter by millimeter - until you've achieved perfectly straightened teeth. Generally, you visit the orthodontic office once every 2 to 3 weeks and the average treatment time is less than one year.
At your initial examination, Dr. Vineet Sohoni will help you decide if Invisalign is right for you.
